THRISSUR: The government on Friday handed over the appointment order of a job for Sreelekshmi, wife of A Pradeep Kumar, Air force junior warrant officer, who died in the copter crash at Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. Revenue Minister K Rajan reached Pradeep’s house in Puthur and handed over the appointment order directly. Sreelekshmi, a MCom graduate is given a job in the revenue department.
The minister had the other day after the cabinet meet informed to give her a job as per her educational qualifications. The cabinet also decided to give a financial help of Rs 8 lakh to the family of Pradeep. The order for this was also given. The family would be given Rs 5 lakh from military welfare fund and Rs 3 lakh to Pradeep’s father, who is in the ventilator, from the chief minister’s relief fund.
