Asif Ali waves, mayor comes back and meets actor

Thiruvananthapuram Corporation mayor Arya Rajendran on Wednesday shared the joy of meeting an unexpected guest during her journey. The unexpected guest was none other than actor Asif Ali. In her Facebook post, the mayor wrote that Asif Ali waved at her while she was about to enter an underpass. Following this, the mayor went back and met the actor.

'I saw a small crowd while passing through Palayam. As my car was about to enter the underpass, I saw a person waving at my car. It was Mr. Asif Ali. However, I was not able to stop the car on that road. So, I decided to go forward and come back through the other side of the road. Asif Ali is in the city for the shooting of a new film. He said that the shooting experience in Thiruvananthapuram was better than in other cities. He also congratulated the governing council on its first anniversary," Arya Rajendran wrote.
