'No dirty jokes in front of camera': Only director who spoke sternly to Nazir and Thikkurissi

From Sathyan, Nazir and Thikkurissi to Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi and Kamal Haasan, his films have paved the way for many stars in cinema. He always saw cinema as divine.

No matter how big the stars, he would say anything he wanted to their face. No director in Malayalam cinema would dare to say that Nazir and Thikkurissi, who smoked in front of the camera, should not smoke here.
