The police chief has issued further guidelines in the wake of widespread goonda attacks in the state. The list of criminals will be prepared on a district basis. Those out on bail will be examined to see if they are violating the conditions. There is also a proposal to arrest absconding accused.
Action will be taken against those who paid for the violence and those who kept the accused in hiding. Admins of hate cyber groups will be arraigned. Accused with a warrant will also be arrested. The guidelines were revised in addition to the police's 'Operation Kaval' plan.
The DGP is issuing the third circular in the wake of the Alappuzha incident. Cyber divisions in all districts have been tasked to constantly monitor social media. The DGP also directed the law and order department ADGP and the regional IGs to report every week on the implementation of the directives.
