Sivagiri pilgrimage: Dharma flag, Divyajyothi to reach today

SIVAGIRI: The Dharma flag to be hoisted at the Pilgrimage City of 89th Sivagiri pilgrimage will be brought this evening from the Kottayam Nagampadam Mahadeva Temple Grounds where Gurudevan gave permission for the pilgrimage.

The flag-coir procession to hoist the Dharma flag is from the Saktheeshwara temple at Kalavamkode, the Divyajyothis to be lit on the pilgrimage site from Thalassery Jagannatha Temple, and the Rath Yatra carrying the panchaloha idol of Gurudeva from the Kerala Varma Soudham (Mooloor Vasathi) at Elavumthitta. The Sree Narayana Guru Society will bring clothes from Sri Lanka for the Gurudeva statue in the Mahasamadhi. Dharma flags for the front row of the procession on the 30th will be brought from the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait to Sivagiri on the 30th. The flags will be received by the great saints of Sivagiri Math at the mahasamadhi.
