Quake leaves cracks in houses in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An earthquake was recorded in Thiruvananthapuram. A minor earthquake shook Kattakada, Kallikad and Vellarada at 11.30 pm last night. The quake affected Amburi and Neyyar areas also.

Some houses in the area developed cracks. The locals said they heard a thunderous sound. With this, people were seen running out of their houses. The MLA and the people's representatives will visit the area today. The district administration said there was no cause for concern.
