Youth brutally attacked in Kollam, visuals out

KOLLAM: A youth was brutally attacked at Chathanur in Kollam. Three people attacked Prasad of Chathanur following a dispute between employees of a private bus. The police have taken two into custody in connection with the incident.

The incident happened on January 5. Two who attacked the youth are owners of private bus and the other an employee of the bus. There were disputes over the timing of the bus. The police said he was attacked following that. Shehanas and Zulfi of Chathannur are in custody.

The accused were first seen hitting Prasad on his head. He was later attacked brutally and the visuals of this had surfaced. Prasad has been admitted in the hospital. His condition is stated to be satisfactory. The Chathanur police have registered a case and an investigation has started. There was a dispute between the employees of the private bus in which Prasad is working and the other two of another bus. Prasad said he was beaten in the name of it.
