Suresh Gopi visits fish market, buys kingfish weighing 6.5 kgs, gave vendor more than asking price, and urges him to do this

THRISSUR: MP Suresh Gopi went to Shakthan Market today to learn about the renovation work being done with Rs 1 crore from the MP fund. While visiting the market, he came to the fish market and bought fish.

When he arrived at the market, he was surrounded by fishmongers calling him Sureshetta. They competed to call him. After greeting everyone, he went to a nearby vendor and asked for the names and prices of the fish. He then purchased a kingfish. The fish he bought weighed about six and a half kilograms. The price was close to Rs 3,000. He gave the vendor more than the asking price and asked him to use the remaining money to buy something for others.

He took the fish in his hand and posed for a photo. Photographers also clicked a lot of pictures.
