THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Director and screenwriter Ranjith, who has taken over as the chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, said that the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) can be held if there is a decline in the spread of Covid. "I believe that one should not follow the working style of controlling things from the office. Better performance can be displayed with the support of those who suggest corrections rather than just pointing out mistakes," Ranjith said after assuming office as chairman.
Ranjith said he would only do things in the coming days after discussing with the Department of Cultural Affairs and his colleagues.
Program deputy director NP Sajeesh, festival deputy director H Shaji, Academy secretary Ajoy, vice-chairperson Beena Paul and treasurer Sreelal were also present on the occasion.
