Arrest of two will be registered soon in Dheeraj murder case

IDUKKI: The arrest of two in the murder of SFI activist and an engineering student will be registered soon. The arrest of youth congress activists Nikhil Pailey and Jerin Jojo will be registered.

Nikhil Pailey has confessed to the police that he stabbed Dheeraj to death. The investigating officials said Jerin JoJo's role in the murder has been established. The police caught Jerry while he was trying to flee after the incident.

Apart from Nikhil and Jerry, four others have also been taken into custody. All four are engineering students and KSU activists. The officials said they will be questioned in detail.

The body of Dheeraj is now at Idukki Medical College. After the post-mortem, the body will be kept at the CPM Idukki District Committee Office for public homage. Then it will be taken to Kannur, his native place, in a procession.
