KOCHI: The investigation team believe that the video which is the main evidence in the actress attack case, is in the hands of ‘VIP’. The visuals captured by Pulsar Suni after attacking the actress was first handed over to the VIP. He took it to the studio in Kochi and after increasing its volume, handed it over to Dileep.
Director Balachandra Kumar in his statement to the police asserted that the visuals captured in the mobile phone was transferred to a pen drive and then handed over to the actor. In the meanwhile, the police team think that a copy of it may be in the hands of the VIP. Pulsar Suni had first stated that the mobile used to capture the visuals were deserted in a drain. However, he later stated that it was handed over to the lawyer and destroyed. The investigating team assess that Suni is changing his statement out of fear of Dileep’s threats.
With the new revelations in the case, the investigation team is trying to find a copy of the footages. Efforts have been intensified to trace the VIP. As part of that, it has been decided to question Pulsar Suni in jail. If Pulsar Suni does not say anything, the probe team will prepare a list of those close to the accused in the case and show their pictures to Balachandra Kumar to find the VIP.
