THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of rising Covid cases, the review meet convened here Friday under the presence of the chief minister, decided to impose more restrictions. A decision has been taken to close the schools for two weeks. Classes from one to nine will go fully online. There will be no restriction presently on government programmes, indoor and outdoor functions but has directed to conduct them online as much as possible.

The head of an institution has been given the charge to close it if the spread of the disease is noticed. In the review meet chaired by the chief minister, permission was given to take a decision by the respective institution at the grassroots level. However, night curfew or weekend curfew have not been imposed.
