WCC approaches women’s commission seeking justice for actress attacked, demands to expose Hema Commission report

KOZHIKODE: Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), a women’s organisation in the film industry, approached the women’s commission seeking justice for the actress attacked. Actresses Parvathy Thiruvoth, Padmapriya, singer Sayanora and director Anjali Menon held talks with women’s commission chief P Sathidevi at the Kozhikode Guest House.

The WCC members approached her demanding justice for their colleague attacked and to interfere in exposing the Hema Commission Report.

The WCC members had earlier met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan demanding a comprehensive probe into the case. The organisation called on the chief minister and requested to ensure that justice is implemented after standing with the survivor.
