Dheeraj murder: KSU district general secretary held

IDUKKI: One more person has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of SFI activist Dheeraj Rajendran. The person taken into custody has been identified as Nithin Luckose, KSU Idukki district general secretary. With this, six have been arrested in the case.

Youth Congress leaders Nikhil Pailey and Jerin Jojo, arrested in the case earlier have been remanded. The fifth accused has not yet been arrested. The probe team has approached the court seeking custody of the remanded accused. This is to complete the collection of evidence at the scene and for further investigation. The case is being investigated by a team led by Idukki DySP Emmanuel Paul.
