V S Achuthanandan tests positive for Covid

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former chief minister V S Achuthanandan tested positive for Covid-19. He was confirmed of the virus in a test conducted following the symptoms. He was rushed to a private hospital in Pattom. His health condition is satisfactory. VS aged 98 was in a critical condition two months ago due to stomach ailments and poor health due to sodium deficiency. He was discharged from the hospital on November 19 and was on complete rest at home. Visitors were not allowed. In the meanwhile, he tested positive for the virus.
