Sreekanth Vettiyar approaches HC seeking anticipatory bail in rape case

KOCHI: Popular YouTube vlogger Sreekanth Vettiyar has approached the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a rape case. His bail plea said the woman’s complaint against him was false and there was a conspiracy behind it.

He approached the high court seeking anticipatory bail after the police decided to arrest him on the woman’s complaint. The accused is absconding for a week after the rape case was registered against him. Sreekanth filed an anticipatory bail plea amid a police search.

The first ‘Me Too’ allegation was levelled against Sreekanth Vettiyar through the Facebook page ‘Women Against Sexual Harassment’. Soon after that, another woman also accused him for a second ‘Me Too’ allegation.
