Kerala records 49,771 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, 11 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 51,739 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Among these, 47,490 persons developed the disease through contact, including 3548 cases without an identified source of infection. 237 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 464 health workers contracted the disease on Thursday.

42,653 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,09,489 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 11 deaths due to the virus on Thursday with the toll rising to 52,434.

Ernakulam 9708, Thiruvananthapuram 7675, Kozhikode 5001, Kollam 4511, Thrissur 3934, Kottayam 3834, Palakkad 3356, Malappuram 2855, Alappuzha 2291, Kannur 2252, Pathanamthitta 2063, Idukki 1986, Wayanad 1344, Kasaragod 1029.
