KOCHI: The Kerala High Court directed Dileep to produce whatever the investigating officials demand and asked him why a concern in handing over the phone. The court’s direction was while considering the anticipatory bail plea in the case of conspiracy to finish off the investigating officials.

The court decided to consider the case urgently on the plea of the prosecution asserting that the actor is not cooperating with the case. However, the actor said that he produced all that the investigating officials demanded and is cooperating with the case. The actor said that he is not using the old phones now.

The phone demanded by the investigation team is not at the time of the crime. The old phones are given for forensic examination. Once the report is received, it will be produced in the court. The conversation with Balachandra Kumar has been recorded. The phone also has conversations with his ex-wife. If the investigating team reveals it, it will affect his privacy. Dileep told the court that he has nothing to hide.

The court said Dileep has an obligation to produce the evidence. The court said Dileep could not say that he will not give the phone as it has conversations and that it was not up to Dileep to decide who should check the phone, the court criticized.

Dileep said that he is being haunted and that the investigating officials don’t have any evidence. Balachandra Kumar tried to blackmail me. Evidences with him should be seized and requested the court to postpone the case to Monday.

Meantime, the prosecution has filed a sub-plea in the conspiracy case. The prosecution demanded that the accused failed to produce the phones with bad intent and sought them in custody. Dileep is now using a phone he bought 46 days ago. The old phone contains more than 12000 calls. The old phone is needed to get the details. The prosecution told the court that they would have found the phone themselves if the court had not intervened.

At the end of court’s criticisms, Dileep informed them the place given for examination of the phone. When the court asked to submit it before the registrar, Dileep replied that they will produce it after their arguments. The prosecution is of the view that the phones need produced in the court. The court will hear the case again tomorrow at 11 am.
