Kerala records 51,887 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, 24 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 51,887 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Among these, 47,612 persons developed the disease through contact, including 3602 cases without an identified source of infection. 221 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 462 health workers contracted the disease on Tuesday.

38,458 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,57,552 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 24 deaths due to the virus on Tuesday with the toll rising to 55,600.

Ernakulam 9331, Thrissur 7306, Thiruvananthapuram 6121, Kozhikode 4234, Kollam 3999, Kottayam 3601, Palakkad 3049, Alappuzha 2967, Malappuram 2838, Pathanamthitta 2678, Idukki 2130, Kannur 2081, Wayanad 1000, Kasaragod 552.
