Kerala allows 100 percent seating in theatres, bars; major relaxations in Covid restrictions

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With the state reporting a decline in Covid cases, the Kerala government has announced major relaxations in Covid restrictions. The district-wise restrictions based on hospital admissions have been lifted.

The government has also granted permissions for 100 percent occupancy in theatres and hotels. Restaurants, bars and pubs are permitted to operate with 100 percent of their seating capacity. Up to 1500 people can attend public events.
