Youth shot at amidst verbal dispute; accused Vineeth held, bought airgun from shop near Thampanoor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vineeth, the accused in the incident of shooting a person amidst a verbal dispute at Kallara Pangod has been arrested. The police found that he bought the airgun from a shop in S S Kovil Road.

Raheem, an electrician was shot at. The incident happened last night. The youth who was shot on his head has been admitted at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in a serious condition. The incident happened when he was returning after Thiruvathira in Kadakkal. Eyewitnesses had revealed that Vineeth running a workshop nearby shot him.

Raheem had given his bike at Vineeth’s workshop for some work. A dispute over it ended in the firing. The doctors said Raheem undergoing treatment in the hospital need a surgery.
