Dulquer is ungrateful: bans his films, will not co-operate, says Fiok

KOCHI: Theatre owners' association Fiok has said that it will not cooperate with Dulquer Salman's films. The action was taken following the decision to release film 'Salute' on OTT. The film is produced by Dulquer Salman. Fiok president Vijayakumar alleged that Dulquer was ungrateful.

Fiok claims that Dulquer has cheated by promising a theatrical release. The decision will be presented to the General Body of the organization on March 31. The current decision will then be informed to all members.

Dulquer has been banned as a warning to other players to avoid them to make such decisions. Dulquer's film 'Kurup', which was earlier released during the Covid period, was a great relief to the theatre owners.
