Tickets are being sold at a record price for the much-anticipated RRR directed by the celebrated SS Rajamouli. The tickets for the Hindi version of the film have been reportedly sold for Rs 2,100 at PVR Directors Cut in Delhi at a record price.
It is learned that tickets were also sold for a high price at the PVR Mall in Mumbai. Starring Jr. NTR and Ramcharan in the lead roles, RRR also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Allison Doody, Olivia Morris and Ray Stevenson.
The film set in the 1920s is based on the lives of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. The story mixes fiction into history as it is taken as if they happen to meet each other. Ticket bookings for the film have ended in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Apart from Telugu, the film will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada as well as in Portuguese, Korean, Spanish and Turkish. The movie will be released tomorrow.
