Chackochan now owns Sudhi’s red Splendor; actor says how he found it after 25 years

Kunchacko Boban had made his debut in Malayalam cinema as a chocolate hero, 25 years ago. Along with Chackochan, two other stars had become popular during the time. One was Malayalee’s favourite actress Shalini and the other a Honda Splendor bike. After quarter of a century, Chackochan has now acquired his companion from his debut film.

Chackochan drove into Malayalee hearts on a red Honda Splendor in Fazil’s ‘Aniyathipraavu’. Chackochan and his Splendor bike had later become the charm of the youth of the period. ‘Aniyathipraavu’ was released on March 26, 1997. Now, Chackochan is thrilled to own Sudhi's favourite bike exactly 25 years after the movie’s release.

The red Honda Splendor bike has reached Sudhi’s hands after quarter of a century. After searching for many days, I learned that the bike is with Bonnie, an employee of the Honda showroom in Alappuzha. He had maintained the bike well, over all these years, said Kunchacko Boban.

The actor is currently busy shooting for a film in Kasaragod. The Splendor bike reached Chackochan’s residence on Thursday. Once I get back, I will hang out with my old friend, he said.
