Indian navy's Advanced Light Helicopter arrives in SL to train Lankan airforce and navy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Navy's Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) has arrived at the Sri Lankan airbase in Katunayake to train Sri Lankan Air Force and navy pilots and helicopter operations in ships. The training will last for a week. The team conducted deck landing training on the Sri Lanka Navy's Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel 'Sayurala'. The training is part of the central government's neighbourhood first policy. The understanding and coordination between the armed forces of the two countries will further strengthen the millennial friendship. The training also aims to coordinate maritime activities.
