THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: This year's Plus Two and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations will commence today. SSLC exams will begin tomorrow. A total of 4,33,325 students are appearing for the Plus Two exam, which will take place till April 26. There are a total of 2005 examination centres inside and outside Kerala. Today, 70,440 students will appear for the exam at 907 centres. The practical exams will be held from May 3.
There are 31,332 candidates in 389 centres in the Vocational Higher Secondary section, including 30,158 students in the regular section and 1,174 in other sections. 2005 chief superintendents, 4015 deputy chief superintendents and 22,139 invigilators have been deployed to conduct the examination. 4,28,863 students will be appearing for the SSLC examination in the regular and private sections.
Although there has been a decline in Covid cases, children should wear masks. Hands should be sanitized. Special facilities will be arranged for students suffering from Covid to appear for the examination.
