Murder conspiracy case; Hearing on Dileep’s plea will continue in HC, Sarath to be questioned today also

KOCHI: The hearing on Dileep's plea in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress, will continue in the high court today also. The actor claimed that the case was fabricated by the police.

However, the prosecution argued that there is clear evidence against Dileep and that he tried to destroy the data from the phone. The sixth accused in the case and Dileep's friend, businessman Sarath, will be questioned today also. He was grilled for six hours yesterday.

The investigation team concluded that it was Sarath who handed over the visuals of the attack to Dileep. Dileep's brother Anoop, sister's husband Suraj and friend Baiju Chengamanadu will also be questioned by the crime branch today.

Dileep was interrogated for 16 hours during the last two days. Investigators said the actor would be questioned further if necessary.
