Films produced by Dulquer will release in theatres; FEOUK lifts ban

KOCHI: Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEOUK) has lifted its ban on actor Dulquer Salmaan's production company. Earlier, the organization had banned the production company after Dulquer's latest film 'Salute' was released on OTT platform.

The organization said it would continue to cooperate with Dulquer. Wayfarer Films, Dulquer's production company, had informed the organization that 'Salute' was given to OTT under special circumstances. The film, which was slated for a theatrical release in January, could not be released due to Covid. The producers then decided to release the film directly in OTT as they had already signed an agreement to release the film in OTT in April.
