THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that the dispute with INTUC has been resolved. Sudhakaran also said that INTUC was an integral part of the Congress party. The KPCC president's response came after a meeting with opposition leader VD Satheesan.
Sudhakaran clarified that Satheesan had said that INTUC belongs to the Congress. The KPCC president, who said that the controversy was caused by the media, added that the work of INTUC in Kerala was exemplary. He also said that action would be taken against those who took part in the protest. He said that the party would seek an explanation from Kottayam DCC president Nattakom Suresh on the matter.
The KPCC took the dispute seriously after the INTUC took to the streets in Kazhakoottam after Changanassery to protest against the Opposition Leader.
