KANNUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday said that the stand of the anti-communists is that nothing should happen during the period of LDF rule. Their position is that the UDF can bring high-speed rail but the LDF should not. "It is okay to oppose politically but is it right to stop the development of the country", he asked. The CM was speaking at the concluding session of the CPM party congress.
"There are still anti-communists in the country. They do not change. People are able to recognize things. The aim of the anti-communists is to spread misconceptions. Attempts are being made to propagate that there are different factions in the CPM. The development work of the government is being propagated in a wrong way", he added.
"Opponents argue that nothing should happen during the LDF rule. Met Prime Minister to seek central approval for the project. The LDF is committed to the development of the country. It is hoped that permission will be granted. If there is a problem, it can be raised, but opposing development isn't the way. Our state must be developed for future generations. We should stand together", Pinarayi Vijayan said.
