THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K V Thomas has come forward with harsh criticisms against KPCC President K Sudhakaran. Sudhakaran is implementing his agenda of ousting me from the party, alleged K V Thomas.
It is not for Sudhakaran to decide whether I am in the party. No one has asked me to join the CPM. Sudhakaran is not Congress, Thomas pointed out in an interview with a private channel.
K V Thomas claims that he has the support of Sonia Gandhi. Whatever be the action, I will continue in the Congress, he said.
KPCC has demanded disciplinary action against Thomas who had attended the CPM party congress violating Congress leadership’s ban. KPCC’s recommendation has been left to the AICC disciplinary committee. Further actions will be taken after the committee seeks explanation from K V Thomas.
Meantime, one section of the party has turned against Thomas, who had attended the CPM seminar breaking the ban, praised Pinarayi Vijayan and supported K-Rail. Leaders such as Muraleedharan and Chennithala have also come forward criticizing Thomas. All are awaiting the decision by the disciplinary committee chaired by A K Antony.
