Actor Vijay's interview with director Nelson on Sun TV as part of the promotion of the film 'Beast' is gaining attention. The interview also features news about the movie debut of actor's son.
Some people had approached for Sanjay to act in films. A favourite story among those was told by Alphonse Puthren, director of 'Premam'. Alphonse said that he wishes to meet him and tell a story. At first, he thought the story was meant for him. It was only later that Vijay realized that it was a story suitable for Sanjay.
It was an interesting story about the guy next door. Sanjay has to agree to do the film. Vijay explained that he really wished to do that movie. Sanjay's reply was that he is not interested in doing it now and shall do it after a while. The actor added that as a father, he does not interfere too much in his son's matters.
At the same time, in an interview, Vijay openly revealed the reason for not appearing in front of the media for more than a decade. What he says in interviews might not be the same as what gets printed. Then it becomes controversial and he will have to give an explanation.
This is not always possible. That's why he shares what he has to say with his fans through the audio launch. Vijay added that he stopped giving interviews after being misinterpreted in an interview he gave 11 years ago.
