THRUVANANTHAPURAM: The IAS Association has lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister against the organizational work of employees which results in crushing the morale of IAS officers,by citing several incidents including KSEB issue. The president of the association, Dr. B. Ashok, Secretary M.G. Rajamanikyam filed the complaint. B Ashok is also the Chairman and Managing Director of KSEB.

Employees' organizations need to be prevented from operating in this way. He also demanded that favourable conditions have to be created for IAS officers to function in a better manner. The current situation is that the bureaucracy and the government are working together for the development of the state. However, even in this favorable situation, there were some instances in Kozhikode Collectorate and KSEB where the heads of departments had to be excluded under the leadership of the employees' organizations.

The letter states that such organizational activities, which go beyond personal interests, are an impediment to the superiors to formulate and implement important government projects in a timely manner and to ensure efficient planning.
