Body of missing folk singer found in quarry

THRISSUR: The body of a folk singer was found in a quarry here. The deceased has been identified as KS Sujith alias Jeethu, 26, a native of Kanjirapally, Chalakudy. Jeethu's body was found in a quarry full of water.

Jeethu, who had returned from a festival two days ago, went missing. His mobile phone was found near the quarry on Wednesday and firefighters, police and locals launched a search. The body was found around 1 pm today. Chalakudy police have launched an investigation into the incident.
