KOCHI: The Crime Branch has made a decisive move in the actress attack case. The investigation team is preparing for a new move on the complaint that the visuals of assaulting the actress, the key evidence in the case, have been leaked.

The probe team will question the employees of the Ernakulam principal sessions court. In the first phase, the sheristadar and clerk will be questioned. The court had granted permission to question the employees on April 4. The interrogation will take place soon, said the probe team.

In addition to the sheristadar and clerk, the probe team has sought permission to question other court employees as well. The team’s move is based on the forensic lab report that the hash value of the pen drive, which contained the assault visuals, had changed while in court custody.

The scientific examination at the forensic lab found that the files’ hash value had changed on December 13, 2018. The team will also question the employees who were on duty on that day.

The crime branch is intensifying its probe into the actress attack case and the murder conspiracy case. They are also preparing to question people including Dileep’s advocates, next week. Kavya Madhavan will be summoned for interrogation after there is clarity about her involvement in the case.

Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj will be questioned next week. The main task is to check whether they have received the assault visuals or not.
