Over 100 crores on the second day, KGF2 has achieved record collection so far

Kannada movie 'KGF: Chapter 2', starring Yash in the lead role is making waves at the Indian box office. The film earned Rs 134.5 crore on the day of release from India and on the second day also, the collection has crossed Rs 100 crore. Rs 105.5 crores was earned on the second day. In the first two days, KGF 2 received Rs 240 crore from India alone. The audience was eagerly waiting for the second part of the KGF movie which was released in 2018. The release of the film was delayed due to Covid.

The film grossed Rs 7.48 crore on its release day in Kerala. It has surpassed the record of Sreekumar Menon's Mohanlal starrer movie 'Odiyan'. Although the Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi versions are shown in Kerala, the Tamil version has the highest number of screenings. The film is distributed in Kerala by Prithviraj Productions.

Sanjay Dutt will play the role of 'Adheera' in the film. Other cast members include Sreenidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achuth Kumar, Ayyappa P Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Eshwari Rao, Govinda Gowda, John Kokan and Sreenivas Murthy.
