Crime Branch will submit today progress report on further probe in actress attack case

KOCHI: The crime branch will submit a progress report on further probe in the actress assault case in the trial court today. The deadline for completing the probe ended on April 15.

The plea filed by the investigating team seeking three more months’ time to complete the probe is under the consideration of the high court. The investigating team will inform the trial court about it.

ADGP S Sreejith will give an explanation in the court today on the complaint that information related to the investigation was passed to the media. Meantime, the probe team has issued a notice to Sai Sankar asking him to appear for interrogation at 11 am today.
