Health condition satisfactory; actor Sreenivasan discharged from hospital

KOCHI: Actor Sreenivasan, who has been undergoing treatment for a heart-related issue for the last 20 days, has been discharged from the hospital, said a medical bulletin released by the hospital.

Sreenivasan was admitted to the hospital on March 30. He underwent bypass surgery on March 31 after an angiogram revealed a blockage in his blood flow.

Sreenivasan was on ventilator support for three days after surgery and was later removed from the ventilator. However, he was once again put on a ventilator after he developed an infection. Later a medical bulletin came out stating that the actor was out of ventilator support and was showing signs of improvement.
