Actress attack case: Kavya to be grilled soon, SC to consider Pulsar Suni’s bail plea today

KOCHI: The crime branch has decided to expedite the probe in the actor assault and conspiracy cases. The high court allowed another one and a half months’ time in the murder conspiracy case and had informed not to extend it any more. In this situation, the investigating officers have decided to question Kavya Madhavan and others immediately.

The digital evidence obtained from cyber expert Sai Sankar will be crucial in the case. The crime branch has decided to expedite the verificiation of the data obtained from the phones of the accused including Dileep.

Meantime, the Supreme Court will consider today the bail plea of Pulsar Suni, the accused in the case of attacking the actress. A bench of Justices led by Ajay Rastogi and Bela M Trivedi will consider the plea. The trial proceedings in the case is unlikely to be completed in the near future. All the accused except Suni have already been granted bail. His plea mentioned that he has been in jail for the last five years and so requested to grant bail.
