Bribes from brick quarry owners: Suspension to Deputy Collector

KASARGOD: Deputy Collector has been suspended for accepting lakhs of rupees as bribes from latrite brick quarry owners. Kasargod Endosulfan Special Cell Deputy Collector S Sajeed has been suspended. Based on ADM's investigation on the complaint of taking money from quarry owners in Nettanigah and Nattackal with the help of temporary driver in official vehicle. The Revenue Minister has also received a complaint stating the collection of more than two lakh rupees for RDO and Deputy collector.
