Former Maharashtra Governor Sankaranarayanan passes away at his residence in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: Former Finance Minister of Kerala K Sankaranarayanan has passed away. He was 90 years old. He has served as Governor and UDF Convener in five states, including Maharashtra. Apart from Maharashtra, he was the Governor of Nagaland and Jharkhand and held additional charges in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Goa.

He has served as minister for four times in various ministries in Kerala. He also served as the Convener of the UDF for 16 long years. He died at his residence in Palakkad. He was suffering from several illness.
