THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a move to exclude social observer Joseph C Mathew from the panel discussion related to the SilverLine project. He was initially invited by the government but now K Rail has decided not to include him.

Joseph C Mathew was included in the group of members strongly opposing SilverLine. R V G Menon, Alok Verma and Joseph C Mathew were initially included in the panel opposing the project.

However, K Rail sources said that no decision has been taken in the case of Joseph. Meantime, his response was that he had not been notified about it.

Joseph C Mathew, who was IT advisor during the time of V S government, has been criticising the Pinarayi government from the beginning. A decision has been taken on five people from among the six-member panel attending the discussion to be held on April 28.

Saji Gopinath, who was supposed to take part in the discussion had informed his inconvenience. The government is trying to find someone else to replace him.
