PALAKKAD: Two more have been arrested in the murder case of RSS leader Sreenivasan. There are indications that one of them hacked Sreenivasan. The other person was arrested for his role in the conspiracy. There would be more arrests today.
Sreenivasan was attacked on April 16 around noon in his shop at Melamuri Junction. In addition to the three bikes, the killer group is also found to have used a car. Police confirmed that weapons were brought in this car. The investigating officials said the weapons were handed over to the killer group near Melamuri.
Three pillion riders barged into his shop and hacked him. One of the three is currently in custody. So far, only two of the six-member team have been arrested.
Meantime, an identification parade of the accused in the SDPI leader Subair murder case will be held today. Subair was killed on April 15. The accused in the case are RSS activists and close friends of Sanjith, RSS worker killed on November 15 in 2021. The accused have stated that Subair's murder was due to resentment over Sanjith's murder.
