KANNUR: The family of Reshma, who provided refuge to the accused in the Haridas murder case, said the cyber-attack against them is crossing the limits. They said that if the attack via social media is not stopped, will end their lives and there is no other way forward.
We still have faith in our neighbour the chief minister and the party. That is why a complaint was lodged with the chief minister yesterday. We believe that necessary action will be taken. What has to be said will be spoken in the party venue, said the family.
The police arrested Nijil Das, the 14th accused in the case, from the house owned by Prasanth, husband of Reshma on Friday. It was Reshma, who rented the house to the accused. Reshma, a teacher of Amrita Vidyalaya, was suspended from her job yesterday, for giving shelter to him.
