Violated rules and met witnesses, forced them to change statements; actress files complaint against Dileep's lawyers

KOCHI: The survivor in the actress assault case has filed a complaint against the lawyers of actor Dileep. The actress filed the complaint in the Bar Council along with evidence. She also handed over copies of the lawyers' audio recordings to the council as evidence. According to the complaint, the lawyers met the witnesses in violation of the rules and forced them to change their statements.

Meanwhile, the investigation team will record the statement of the priest in connection with the actress assault case. The statement of Fr Victor of the Thiruvananthapuram diocese will be recorded. The probe team will also examine the priest's financial dealings with Dileep. There are reports that the priest had gone to Dileep's house earlier. Balachandra Kumar had alleged that the priest had met Dileep after the latter was granted bail in the case.

Dileep had been in remand for 85 days. Balachandra Kumar alleged that Neyyattinkara Bishop had intervened to help Dileep get bail.
