Real star is Yash’s father; Superstar’s father who started working as KSRTC driver is still a driver

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ continues its exceptional journey at the box office breaking the collection records in various Indian languages. Following the huge success of the film, actor Yash's past and the sacrifices he made to reach this stage have been widely discussed on social media. However, did you know that his father is still working as a bus driver while his son is making millions as a superstar in movies?

Yash came to cinema from a humble family. The actor’s father Arun Kumar has worked in the KSRTC transport service and later worked in the BMTC transport. Despite the fact that his son is a superstar, Arun Kumar has not left his job. Recently, S S Rajamouli had revealed the same at an event. "I was amazed after knowing that Yash is the son of a bus driver. I’m told that his father works as a bus driver even today. To me, Yash’s father is the real star more than the actor", Rajamouli said.

Yash began his film career as an assistant director in film sets. Later, he joined the popular Benaka theatre troupe formed by renowned dramatist B V Karanath. Following which, he entered into the television industry. He is married to actress Radhika Pandit. The couple met each other for the first time on the sets of TV serial ‘Nanda Gokula’. Yash and Radhika have two kids.
