Should visit houses and advocate for K-Rail, also instructs to strengthen protests against Centre; DYFI with new strategies

PATHANAMTHITTA: DYFI State Conference has decided to do house visits to explain the advantages of K-Rail and to strenghthen strikes against Central government.

The representative conference has approved the resolution to strongly protest against privatisation of central public sector undertakings and on imposition of ban on employment.

They will mobilize the youth of the country against the decision to sell Central Public Sector Undertakings like HNL and BPCA which employs young people.

The conference has also approved the proposals for organizing the campaign against social awareness based on gender equality and danger of right-wing extremism, informed state president S Satheesh and secretary VK Sanoj in press conference.

The discussion about the organizational report will continue today. The concluding general meeting of the conference will be held today at the District Stadium, Pathanamthitta at 4 pm. A rally of one-lakh youth from various centres will reach the stadium. CPI (M) politburo member Brinda Karat will inaugurate the function.

Ministers Veena George, Muhammed Riyas and Saji Cheriyan, All India President AA Rahim, General Secretary Avoy Mukherjee and Central Committee Member K U Jenish Kumar MLA will attend the function.
