V Vaseef elected as DYFI state president; VK Sanoj will continue as the state secretary

PATHANAMTHITTA: 15th DYFI State Conference has come to an end. The new state leadership was elected. VK Sanoj will continue as State Secretary. V Vaseef is the new president and SR Arun Babu is the new state treasurer.

VK Sanoj was appointed as State Secretary in the vacancy of A A Rahim when he became All India President. The meeting had decided that the age limit would be 37 years, but 39-year-old Sanoj was considered for the post of secretary by waiving his age.V Vaseef, a native of Kozhikode, is a close associate of Minister PA Mohammad Riyas. He has worked in various positions of SFI and DYFI. SR Arun Babu, District secretary, Kollam has been elected as the state treasurer. He is also a state executive member.

R Rahul, R Shyama, Dr Shiju Khan, M Shajir and Kallyassery MLA M Vijin are the other new state committee members . A 90-member committee has been set up.
