UNNAO: A woman was found hanging on the first day of work as a nurse in a private hospital. She was found hanging at a private clinic in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao. Meantime, her family alleged that she was gang- raped and then murdered. Four including the manager of the clinic was taken into custody on their complaint.
An FIR against four people has been filed and strict action will be taken against them, said Shashi Shekhar Singh, Additional SP, Unnao.
The woman joined New Jeevan Hospital as a nurse on Friday. She was found dead the following day.
Another gang-rape news has come soon after the Unnao incident that shook the country in 2017. Kuldeep Singh Sengar, an MLA, was sentenced to life imprisonment, in the gang-rape of the 17-year-old girl. The death of the girl's father had sparked a controversy in the country.
