THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister's Political Secretary P Sasi has sent legal notice to former IAS officer Tikaram Meena for allegations in his autobiography. The notice says that he will have to pay a compensation of Rs 50 lakh, if he does not withdraw the statements and apologize. The notice also asked not to publish the autobiography containing such references.

In his autobiography, Meena reveals that while he was Thrissur collector P Sasi, who was the political secretary of EK Nayanar then, intervened for his transfer as he had taken strict action against fake toddy makers. According to the autobiography, Meena also alleges P SasI for his suspension when he was Wayanad Collector. Meena says that TH Mustafa, who was the Minister for food and civil supplies in Karunakaran's cabinet, acted with vengeance. The autobiography 'Tholkilla Njan' highlights on Tikaram Meena's bad experiences and pressures he faced while working honestly during the period of left and right governments.

Tikaram Meena co-authored the book with journalist MK Ramdas. The book release is on May 2.
